If you use AsBuilt on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
AsBuilt provides software for construction documentation and project collaboration, including but not limited to:

When connected, files are stored directly in supported cloud storage services such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
AsBuilt stores project metadata and references required to organize those files.
You remain responsible for your cloud storage account, including quotas, permissions and availability.
AsBuilt offers AI-powered functionality including summaries, translations and documentation assistance.
AI-generated output is provided for convenience only.
You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it for construction, contractual, legal or safety-critical purposes.
AI output should not be considered professional engineering, architectural or legal advice.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Some features require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing period.
Prices are displayed before purchase.
Taxes, including VAT where applicable, may be added according to local law.
Payments are processed by Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund payments already made, except where required by law or stated in a specific refund policy.
Upon cancellation, access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Maintenance, updates, third-party outages and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect the Service.

All software, branding, trademarks, designs and documentation provided by AsBuilt remain the property of András Schmidt e.U. or its licensors.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AsBuilt disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our total liability arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

You may export your project data where supported by the Service.
Project files stored in your connected cloud storage remain under your control even if you discontinue using AsBuilt.

Material changes affecting subscriptions will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in the user's country of residence remain unaffected where required by law.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and AsBuilt regarding the Service.

AsBuilt may offer special pricing, discounts or benefits to early customers ("Founding Customers").

Certain subscription plans include AI-powered functionality.
To ensure reliable service for all customers, AsBuilt reserves the right to apply reasonable usage limits where excessive automated or abusive use materially impacts service availability or operating costs.
Whenever practical:
AsBuilt will not intentionally interrupt normal day-to-day usage that falls within reasonable business expectations.
From time to time AsBuilt may release experimental or beta features.
Beta features:
Beta features are provided for evaluation purposes and may not be suitable for production use.
AsBuilt is designed around customer-owned cloud storage.
Customers remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their cloud storage accounts.
Although AsBuilt stores project metadata, it should not be considered a backup service for customer-owned files.
Certain features may continue to operate while a device is temporarily offline.
Synchronization will occur once connectivity is restored.
Customers are responsible for reviewing synchronized information and resolving any conflicts where prompted.
Organization administrators are responsible for:
Users acting on behalf of an organization acknowledge that project data belongs to the organization unless otherwise agreed.
Projects may include client users.
Project administrators are solely responsible for determining:
AsBuilt is not responsible for unintended disclosure resulting from customer-configured permissions.
Artificial intelligence may:
Customers remain responsible for verifying AI-generated content before relying upon it.
AI-generated reports do not replace professional supervision, engineering judgment or contractual documentation requirements.
AsBuilt assists with construction documentation.
It does not certify:
Construction records remain the responsibility of the customer.
Availability of cloud integrations depends upon third-party providers including Google, Dropbox and Microsoft.
AsBuilt cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation where those providers experience outages, maintenance or API changes.
To improve the Service, AsBuilt may:
These improvements may alter the appearance or operation of the Service while preserving its core functionality.
Certain features may depend upon:
Not all features are available in every subscription tier.
AsBuilt may introduce integrations with additional services including cloud storage providers, authentication providers, project management systems or AI providers.

Customers may export supported project data at any time.
Where technically feasible, exported data shall include:
Original photographs remain under the customer's control within their selected cloud storage provider.
AsBuilt believes customers should remain in control of their construction documentation.

Where third-party AI providers process customer content, processing is limited to delivering the requested feature in accordance with applicable agreements and privacy commitments.
